GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Registration
Registrations are accepted solely via our website, www.elsabor.hu both from single dancers and couples. The contributions are listed on our website under Prices.

The festival is organised by the Association for Argentine Tango and Latin Dances (Argentin Tangó és Latin Táncok Egyesület). The contribution you pay is a grant for the Association to organise and realise the festival, and enables you to attend the events for which you registered. For administrative reasons we will ask you to sign a grant agreement upon arrival, that is why the fields name, address and ID card number are obligatory. Your registration is valid only if you present a valid photo ID document upon arrival, so please don’t forget to bring your ID card.

After completing and sending your registration, you will receive an automated registration confirmation e-mail within minutes in your e-mail box (be sure to check the spam folder too) that contains your chosen packages/milongas/workshops, payment info and our Payment and Cancellation Policy.
In case you did not receive any e-mail within 5 minutes, please contact us at elsabor@barriodeltango.hu.

Your registration will not be final until we have received your payment, in case of a couple registration, both payments. After your payment has arrived, you will receive a payment confirmation e-mail, and thus your registration for the festival will be completed. Please keep the registration and payment confirmation e-mails until you check-in to the festival upon your arrival. You will receive your bracelet that grants entrance to your registered events upon arrival to the festival, following the check-in at the registration desk.

Payment and Cancellation Policy
Payment should be effectuated within 5 days as detailed in the registration confirmation letter. In case of no payment the registration and the confirmation can be cancelled. In case of payment difficulties or special requests please contact organizers.

In case of cancellation by participants due to unforeseen difficulties a 80% refund will be possible until the 1st of August. In case of cancellation after the 1st of August direct refund will not be possible only if a (same role) recommended participant will reimburse the participation fee.

In case of event cancellation due to various acts of God the participation fee will be automatically transferred to the next event with the same refund policy as above.

General rules of conduct
We want the festival to be a fun, comfortable and safe event for everyone. For this reason we will not tolerate harassment in any way, if you behave inappropriately, we will ask you to leave without any refund.

The video recording of the contents of the workshops and the abstracts requires the approval of the maestros.

Partner at the workshops

We do not provide a partner for the workshops. Numbers at the workshops are only finalised at the start of each class, as it is not uncommon that participants purchase workshops during the festival and also for people not to show up for their paid class. If there is a mismatch in the number of roles, we will try to solve it on the spot, e.g. by involving our volunteers, but even like that we cannot guarantee that you will have a partner.
(Our volunteers are not recruited on the basis of dancing skills, so their dance experience broadly varies.)

We usually suggest that you try to bring a partner. It’s worth asking around your tango friends and acquaintances, you can also try searching in FB groups (e.g. local tango groups, El Sabor festival group).

Other
During the event the organization will make photographs and videos to promote future editions of El Sabor de Hungría Tango Festival.
By registering, you give us permission to use these images for the above named purpose on our website and social media channels.

El Sabor de Hungría Tango Festival and the Association for Argentine Tango and Latin Dances (Argentin Tangó és Latin Táncok Egyesület) are not responsible for incidents and/or injuries or for personal items that are lost or stolen during the event.

By registering for El Sabor de Hungría Tango Festival you accept our hereby outlined Terms and Conditions.

EL SABOR 2024 APRIL GIVEAWAY PRIZE DRAW - TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. To enter, entrants must follow the instructions in the Facebook post at https://www.facebook.com/elsabordehungria/
  2. To be eligible, entries must be received on or before the giveaway prize draw closing date. All entries shall become the property of the Association for Argentine Tango and Latin Dances (Argentin Tangó és Latin Táncok Egyesület), and their representatives are not responsible for contacting or forwarding prizes to entrants who provide unclear or incomplete information or for entries lost, misdirected, delayed or destroyed.
  3. The competition is open to all above the age of 16.
  4. Four winners will be chosen at random by the organisers of El Sabor de Hungría Tango Festival. One winner will receive a 30-minute private class with Ivan Terrazas and Sara Grdan, one winner will receive a bottle of pálinka and two winners will receive a 30-minute massage session. The organisers of El Sabor de Hungría Tango Festival will not enter into correspondence about the choice of winning entries.
  5. The entry period for the prize draw is from April 19th 2024 at 00.00 CEST until April 28th 2024 at 23.59 CEST. The prize draw consists of one drawing that will take place after the prize draw period. No entry received after that time will be considered.
  6. The organisers of El Sabor de Hungría Tango Festival reserve the right to amend the specification of the prizes or offer alternative prizes of equal or greater value. The prizes are non-transferable, and are not redeemable for cash.
  7. The winners will be notified via e-mail. If a selected entrant does not meet all of the entry conditions (listed below), another entrant will be selected from the remaining eligible entries.
  8. The winners can redeem their prizes if they have paid for their registrations as detailed in the registration confirmation letter and thus have completed their registrations. If a winner cancels his/her participation at El Sabor de Hungría Tango Festival 2024, (s)he will lose the prize. The private class with Ivan Terrazas and Sara Grdan has to take place in Budapest during El Sabor de Hungría Tango Festival 2024 or on the preceding/following days depending on the length of stay of the maestros and their availability. The massage sessions have to be realised by the official massage therapist of El Sabor de Hungría Tango Festival 2024 and have to take place in Budapest during El Sabor de Hungría Tango Festival 2024 or on the preceding/following days depending on the availability of the massage therapist. The winner of the bottle of pálinka will receive the prize in Budapest during El Sabor de Hungría Tango Festival 2024.
  9. The giveaway prize draw is not open to representatives of Association for Argentine Tango and Latin Dances (Argentin Tangó és Latin Táncok Egyesület) and their sponsors or their immediate families.
  10. By entering the giveaway prize draw, entrants consent to the use of their names, city of residence, photograph and/or image for publicity purposes in all media carried out by El Sabor de Hungría Tango Festival, without payment or compensation.
  11. The decisions of the organisers of El Sabor de Hungría Tango Festival regarding the giveaway prize draw are final. The prize must be accepted as awarded.
  12. The right is reserved to terminate or withdraw this contest at any time.
  13. All entries become the property of the Association for Argentine Tango and Latin Dances (Argentin Tangó és Latin Táncok Egyesület), who assume no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected entries or for any failure of the website during the promotional period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received by the Association for Argentine Tango and Latin Dances (Argentin Tangó és Latin Táncok Egyesület) and El Sabor de Hungría Tango Festival on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the promotion. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, the organisers of El Sabor de Hungría Tango Festival reserve the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are illegible, mechanically reproduced, mutilated, forged, falsified, altered or tampered within any way. Entrants agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions and the decisions of the organisers of El Sabor de Hungría Tango Festival, which are final.
  14. Entries must be submitted by the named entrant and will be invalid if found to come from a third party. The organisers of El Sabor de Hungría Tango Festival reserves the right to disqualify any entrant from the competition if, in their sole judgement, the entrant has not complied with these Terms and Conditions, has tampered with the operation of the competition, or has engaged in any conduct that is detrimental or unfair to El Sabor de Hungría Tango Festival, the giveaway prize draw, or any other entrant.
  15. Entry to the giveaway prize draw is conditional on acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  16. The contact details you provide will be used by us to contact you if necessary, and will not be shared with other companies.
  17. The Promoters have organised these prize draws in good faith and do not accept liability relating to the prize.
  18. This giveaway prize draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.
